Contact the desk

Letters to the desk reach all five critics. We read everything, and we answer when a reply is needed, usually within a week.

• Corrections: tell us the page and what needs fixing. We correct errors in the text and note significant changes.
• Films and screeners: we are glad to hear about documentaries and independent features, especially Canadian ones and films without a big publicist. Send a short description and a link; please do not send files.
• Pitches: we occasionally run pieces by outside writers. A paragraph on the idea and why you are the person to write it is plenty.
• Screenings and festivals: news of community screenings, film societies and small festivals is always welcome.
